Tom Homan got one secret weapon that left every Democrat with a sinking feeling

Three Key Takeaways:

  • Tom Homan is poised to ramp up deportations with a new deal allowing ICE to access IRS data, which will streamline the process of tracking down illegal aliens by using information from tax returns and stolen Social Security numbers.
  • This data-sharing arrangement could improve efficiency for ICE agents and help reduce identity theft, as illegal aliens often use stolen Social Security numbers, causing problems for U.S. citizens.
  • The cooperation between ICE and the IRS has caused concern among Democrats and immigration advocates, with some fearing it will lead to aggressive enforcement actions and increased deportations under the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

Tom Homan is ready to ramp up deportations of illegal aliens.

He’s finally had a wish list item fulfilled.

And Tom Homan got one secret weapon that left every Democrat with a sinking feeling.

ICE is closing in on a deal to use IRS data to find illegal aliens

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has used the cover of taxpayer confidentiality to keep information about illegal aliens filing tax returns and using stolen Social Security numbers secret.

A deal is almost at hand to have the IRS turn over the information that it has about illegal aliens to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

ICE would be able to use the IRS data to track down what could be millions of illegal aliens.

Anonymous sources told Politico that a deal is close to being finalized between the two agencies.

ICE agents could use the IRS databases to get addresses and personal information associated with illegal aliens they’re looking to apprehend.

“An ICE official, granted anonymity to discuss the policy planning, said the data would likely improve efficiency by helping ICE confirm addresses, streamlining time-consuming work that agents often have to do manually,” Politico reported.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem or ICE Director Todd Lyons will request information on illegal aliens from the IRS.

ICE agents will have access to a wealth of information from the IRS to make it easier to find illegal aliens.

Americans could be saved from the nightmare of stolen Social Security numbers

Border Czar Tom Homan said that information sharing between ICE and the IRS would lead to fewer Social Security numbers being stolen by illegal aliens.

“Illegal aliens use Americans’ Social Security numbers . . . identity theft,” Homan said. “We’re looking to protect Social Security. We’re looking out to protect United States citizens’ identity and their benefits from Social Security.”

Homan revealed that one of his family members had their Social Security number stolen.

“Illegal aliens many times use Social Security numbers of U.S. citizens, and it causes a lot of problems — not just identity theft. Even my own family, one of my closest relatives had his ID stolen, his Social Security number stolen,” Homan explained. “We’re going to look out for the American people. We’re going to protect Social Security.”

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) found that more than two million illegal aliens received Social Security numbers last year.

The Immigration Reform Law Institute conducted a study that found as many as 39 million Americans had their Social Security numbers stolen by illegal aliens between 2012 and 2016.

Former Obama Homeland Security official Theresa Cardinal Brown was panicked about the implications of the IRS sharing information with ICE.

“We’ve seen that this administration is certainly pulling out all the stops and trying to use every potential lever of the government to find and deport undocumented immigrants,” Brown. “That’s their stated goal, and that’s what they are doing.”

The Trump administration is ramping up enforcement against illegal aliens with more support likely coming this summer after a Border Security bill with more funding for deportations.
